Beach Town Throw Down

Show off your skills — or come and watch the best compete — at the Beach Town Throw Down CrossFit event in Myrtle Beach this spring. The event will take place May 2-3, 2026 at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.

With more than $25,000 to hand out in cash prizes, the Beach Town Throw Down is a premier CrossFit event mixing a great location with challenging events in a competitive environment.

The event features four divisions allowing for competitors of varying fitness levels. The five divisions include:

• The Rx Division (previously called the elite division) is the top division. Participants in this division receive the largest cash payouts.
• The Intermediate Division (previously called the Rx Division) receive smaller cash payouts.
• The Masters 35+ division is open to competitors 35 and older with a minimum team age of 150. The podium winners receive smaller cash payouts.
• The final division is the Scaled division.
