Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, this 100,000 square foot sports facility host’s year round tournaments for gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and more. This new venue has already become host to some exciting and important tournaments such as Cheer Nationals, Volleyball tournaments, National Travel Basketball Association Tournaments, Gymnastics Championships, National Handball Championships and plenty more.
North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex
Opening in 2014, the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex has also grown its popularity as one of the top outdoor sports tournament venues on the East Coast. With four regulation youth baseball/softball fields, eight regulation soccer/ lacrosse fields, and multiple batting tunnels, The North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex is the premiere spot for multiple sporting tournaments. They have even been host to a collegiate quidditch tournament! The sports complex is also home to GoApe, an incredible treetop ropes course adventure and Shark Wake Park, a unique wakeboarding experience.
The Ripken Experience
One of the longer standing sports venues in town is The Ripken Experience, a state-of-the-art baseball and softball facility, which plays host to the nation's top tournaments featuring the nation’s top ball players. The Ripken Experience consists of nine fields all with synthetic turf infield and outfield to ensure for the most professional play. Even the fields at Ripken are modeled after some of the most legendary professional baseball fields, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for both players and parents.
Myrtle Beach now sees over 15 million visitors per year and the percentage of that 15 million visiting for sports tourism continues to grow. The new venues and facilities around the Grand Strand have helped put Myrtle Beach on the national map for amateur sports activities and tournaments.

When that day comes, there is no better place to look for lodging than the Dunes Village Resort. We offer condos and suites that can house anywhere from 4 to 16 guests! Our suites and condos leave ample room for the entire group to be accommodated comfortably during their stay. While we certainly offer smaller rooms, most sports groups typically choose one of our three or four bedroom condos for the ultimate housing of eight or more people. All of the housings are equipped with a full kitchen and living room area to allow for home cooked meals and team bonding time after the big game!
