Eat, Drink and Enjoy Live Music at Dunes Village Resort

When you stay at Dunes Village Resort in Myrtle Beach, it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunshine. And while you’re here, we’re here to offer up all the vacation relaxation essentials, from a comfortable chair by the pool to fun pool features to cool off in to drinks and food and even live entertainment!

And now that summer is here, you can enjoy live acoustic music every day at the tiki bar on the Palmetto pool deck! Come on down and enjoy the tunes, including favorites from the 60s, 70s, and 80s and laid-back beach classics, from 1 to 4 p.m. every day, as well as some evenings during peak season and holidays.

While you’re at the tiki bar, you might as well grab some refreshments. The top pick at the Dunes Village tiki bar is the Voodoo Bucket, said food and beverage manager Dan Gibson. It comes in a commemorative 32 ounce vessel and contains several different types of rum, including “a whole lot of Cruzan rum. I call it a Hawaiian punch with a kick,” Gibson said with a chuckle. You can also try the Dunes Twisted Tea, a take on a Long Island Iced Tea that includes 10-time distilled Deep Eddy sweet tea vodka.

Make sure to check for specials from happy hour between 4 to 6 p.m., and if you’re hungry, grab a menu. A full array of food is available, including favorites such as the captain’s nachos and buffalo chicken wrap. A full kids menu is also available.

So grab your sunscreen and towel and head down to the pool deck—the sights, sounds and tastes of the beach await!
