Dunes Village Video Center

Welcome to the kids club program at the dunes village resort in myrtle beach. This is such a popular program that it runs year round!  The activities vary daily and range from arts and crafts - where you can paint and decorate your own beach chair, tie dye t-shirts, pain and decorate your own birdhouse or beach bucket.  Next, they offer sport challenges with basketball shooting contests, mini-golf tournaments and water balloon toss.  They also have duck races, whip cream eating contests and movie nights.  There is really something for everyone.

Tie dye t-shirts are the most popular activity here at Dunes Village Kids Club program.  Everyone will get a t-shirt that says dunes village kids club with the fun clam logo on it. After you receive your shirts, you move to the tables and rubber band them. Create your own unique look.  Don’t forget gloves and off to the water bucket where you will soak the t-shirt in the water. Then ring the shirt out and you are now ready for the fun!!!  
Add any dye color and pattern that you want.

Once the dyes are done you will place your t-shirt into a plastic bag and close tightly. Keep in the bag for 8 hours. Wash with hot water and then let dry. There you have it your very own dunes village kids club tie dyed t-shirt.

Take home your own handmade souvenir, (complete with Dunes Village Resorts’ name on it so you will always remember what fun you had?) Paint your own beach chair. The mini Adirondack chairs are a blank canvas for you. Paint the arms one color, the legs one color the back and seat several colors. Or paint the entire thing one color and make your own design - whether it is polka dots, stripes or zigzags. 

When you are done, let it dry and take home your own hand made souvenir.

Another popular activity is the whipped cream-eating contest. Yes kids you can even challenge your parents. Everyone starts with a pastry-sized plate loaded with whipped cream. Hands behind the back and its go time. First one with a clean plate is the winner.   Don’t worry everyone will leave with candy!!  This is so much fun!!
