Kids staying entertained while on vacation at a water parkTaking a family vacation with the kids can be memorable experience for all. To make sure everyone has plenty of good memories, it’s important to keep the kids entertained during your stay in Myrtle Beach. Lucky for you, Dunes Village is one of the most kid-friendly properties on the Grand Strand.

Dunes Village Amenities

Dunes Village has plenty of on site amenities for your kids to use during your stay that will keep them going for hours. Dunes Village is home to the only indoor waterpark in Myrtle Beach. We have huge water slides and plenty of fun water features inside for when the little ones could use a break from the sun. Outside, kids can splash and play in our massive oceanfront outdoor pool or float along in our lazy river. Aside from the beach and the pool, Dunes Village also has plenty of on-site games the whole family can enjoy together. We have pool tables, Ping-Pong tables, shuffleboard, foosball, a basketball court, tennis court, a Nintendo Wii and even an on-site mini-golf course! We also have the Dunes Village Kid’s Club, a children’s activity program that offers arts & crafts, water games, treasure hunts & more! Staying at Dunes Village is the best choice for families with children thanks to all that we have to offer.

Have A Plan

Having a plan or vacation itinerary is extremely helpful in making sure there is very little unwanted downtime during your stay at Dunes Village. Your plan doesn’t have to be down to the minute but at least gather 2 or 3 attractions to choose from for each day you’ll be in Myrtle Beach. The area is full of kid friendly attractions so finding something to do is much easier than choosing what you want to do most. Be sure to take advantage of all that the resort has to offer before venturing out around town. You can likely plan a few days worth of entertainment without even leaving the property.

Choose The Right Restaurants

Choosing the right restaurants to accommodate your children is just as important as finding the right activities & attractions. While most restaurants have kids menus, not all provide a fun, family friendly experience. Our on-site restaurants like the Admiral’s Room, Captain’s Café, and Cabana Tiki Bar are all fantastic options the whole family can enjoy. If you’re looking to take the family out to enjoy some of Myrtle Beach’s other great family dining, try a dinner and a show at Medieval Times or Pirates Voyage. Restaurants like Broadway Louie’s and California Pizza Game Zone have arcades to keep kids entertained before and after their meal. Myrtle Beach has plenty of family friendly dining options both on and off the property at Dunes Village Resort.

B.Y.O.E (Bring Your Own Entertainment)

If all of the on-site entertainment at Dunes Village isn’t enough, bringing your own entertainment is always an option. Many people are now bringing their tablets and laptops with them on vacation. With apps like Netflix and Hulu, your kids will be able to watch their shows while you get a few minutes to relax. If you don’t want your kids staring at a screen, bring some board games, card games or playing cards so the whole family can play together. Dunes Village has so many kid-friendly amenities making it one of the easiest places in Myrtle Beach to keep kids entertained throughout your whole vacation. Be sure to contact the front desk and get a schedule of activities to help you create your vacation itinerary.
