From South Carolina’s largest marathon to a race featuring man’s best friend, there’s plenty of options to choose for both the avid and casual runner.

Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot | November 23, 2017

Get a workout in before a day of turkey carving and sides stuffing with the Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot in Surfside Beach. Multiple races are held during the event, including a 10K, 5K, 1 mile, and a Tot Trot, all with a beautiful view of the coastline in Surfside Beach. Each race starts and finishes at the Surfside Beach Pier. Refreshments will be available after the race and all participants that pre-register are guaranteed a t-shirt. Race into the New Year | December 30, 2017

Start your new year’s resolution on the right foot for 2018 with the 11th Annual Race into the New Year at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. The race is 5K, both run and walk, with awards for age groups and refreshments after the race. All runners that pre-register are guaranteed a t-shirt. Myrtle Beach Marathon | March 3, 2018

The Myrtle Beach Marathon features three days of events and expos, leading up to South Carolina’s largest race. For 26.2 miles, runners will travel up and down Myrtle Beach, reaching as far south as The Market Common and as far north as 82nd Avenue North, eventually ending at TicketReturn.com Stadium across from Broadway at the Beach. If 26+ miles isn’t your thing, there will also be a half marathon, marathon team relay, a family fun run, and a 5K race. A post-race party will take place at the House of Blues at Barefoot Landing. Divas Half Marathon | May 6, 2018

For a unique race experience, try the Divas Half Marathon, a North Myrtle Beach marathon dedicated to encourage and celebrate the fitness of women and girls of all ages. Pink is no stranger at this race, as many of the participants don pink apparel, shoes, feather boas, and more to show off their support for female athleticism. Myrtle Beach 5K & Doggie Dash | October 20, 2018

Take in the beautiful views of The Market Common during the looped course Myrtle Beach 5K. At the end of the race, all runners will receive a medal, refreshments, and awards will be handed out to the top finishers in specified age groups. And if you enjoy running in pairs, bring your four-legged friend to the Doggie Dash, a one-mile race around The Market Common supporting the Grand Strand Humane Society. Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon | October 21, 2018

Enjoy a beachfront race in Myrtle Beach when you register for the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon! Starting and ending in downtown Myrtle Beach, this 13.1 mile half marathon features surfboard finisher medals, post live entertainment, and a beer garden in Plyler Park near the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel.
