With milder temperatures and the holidays approaching, Myrtle Beach becomes a hub for fantastic events during the month of November, from tree lightings to all-you-can-eat dining festivities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Soup or Supper
Sunday, Nov. 5
12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Get all the soup you can eat at the 22nd Annual Souper Supper, held at the International Culinary Institute at The Market Common. Local chefs compete in different delicious categories for soup supremacy and guests receive samples and tastings. There will also be baked goods, desserts, and a cupcake decorating station. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
Art in the Park
Nov. 4 - 5, & Nov. 11 - 12
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. both weekends
Art in the Park is a year long display of works by local artists and craftsmen, including paintings, glass art, jewelry, woodwork, photography, and more! Art in the Park will be held in Chapin Park near downtown Myrtle Beach for the weekend of Nov. 4 -5, and Valor Park at the Market Common for Nov. 11 - 12. Admission is free.
Dickens Christmas Festival
Nov. 9 - 12
The 36th Annual Dickens Christmas Show comes to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, bringing the holidays to the beach! Explore 100,000 sq. ft. of Christmas offerings from vendors, Victorian musicians, readings, shows, and Santa himself! Single day passes are $10 for adults and $4.50 for children. Multi-day passes are $14 for adults and $6 for children. Times vary by day.
2017 Murrells Inlet Oyster Roast
Saturday, Nov. 18
11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Head to the Wicked Tuna at the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk for all you can eat oysters and live entertainment! Special drinks and other delicious food will also be offered. Tickets are $36 a person, and tickets include a free koozie, all-you-can-eat oysters, entertainment, and a variety of food and drinks.
Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot

8 a.m.
If you’re looking for a workout before a delicious day of feasting this Thanksgiving, give the Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot a try! Starting at 8 a.m. at Valor Park at The Market Common, this event features an 8k, 5k, one mile race, and a Tot Trot race for the kids, winding through The Market Common and the historic Air Force Base. All registered runners receive a race shirt, and vendors will be on hand. Registration fees vary on race.
Nights of a Thousand Candles
Thursday, Nov. 30
3 p.m. - 10 p.m.
This is a holiday event you’ll surely won’t want to miss! Nights of a Thousand Candles is a holiday tradition at Brookgreen Gardens where over 5,500 lighted candles and countless lights glow around the beautiful flora and statues of the gardens. Sip on warm cider and stroll the stunning walkways as holiday music fills the air. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for children. Ages 3 and under are free.
